The wedding of Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, became the peg for the 18th induction of officers of the Rotary Club of Sta. Rosa Centro. The Whitewoods Convention Center was turned into an English Garden by Past President MAYA PADIERNOS, an events stylist. The female members wore their fanciest fascinators while the male members donned tailcoats. MICHELLE BALDEMOR was sworn in by District Governor BOY GARCIA as the new president after Immediate Past President JAY DEE delivered her audio-visual report and valedictory address. For entertainment, the Club’s Rotary Exchange student from Venezuela, PAULA Gimenez Garcia, did a beautiful flamenco dance while the Club members kickstarted the dancing with the “British Invasion,” a special dance number to the songs of iconic British bands from the Beatles to the One Direction.
