The Rotary Club of Roosevelt-District 3780 recently conducted “Mental Exchange v. 2019—An Evening of Mental Health Awareness.”
The seminar aimed to educate a diverse audience to fight the stigma on mental health problems in society. Attendees also learned how to identify symptoms of mental health problems, how to manage mental health be it their own or in others.
Speakers during the event held at the District Rotary Center were Remedios C. Moog (“Current Status of Mental Health in the Philippines”); Celine Ibay of Motivate Activity and Therapy Center (“Wellbeing Professionals and Who They Are”); President Kates Ante (“Anxiety and Depression Support in PH”); and Past President Arangel Noche (“Benefits of PWD ID”).
