Almost 1,000 Rotarians, some from across the seas, travelled to Naga City to witness the handover of the leadership of District 3820 from Immediate Past District Governor BOY GARCIA to District Governor EVERETT OLIVAN.
Held at The Tent, Avenue Plaza Hotel in the heart of this capital city in Bicol, the big event hosted by the Rotary Club of Naga, Olivan’s home club, drew 112 out of the 118 Champion Presidents who walked proudly as they were introduced, with their club secretaries on their side carrying their club banner, while they held a brand spanking new bell and gavel courtesy of their governor.
Olivan was inducted into office by District Trainer/Past District Governor TATO DIMAYUGA. The Ezer Foundation Performing Arts and Orchestra wowed the audience with their light classics. At the end of the delicious dinner and the program, the Rotarians of D3820 danced the night away to the music of the Elevation Band.
