Rotary Club of Iloilo South holds a yoga session as part of its End Polio Now campaign

The End Polio Now project does not only combat the disease; it also brings Rotarians together

Apart from immunization, Rotary’s End Polio campaign involves another essential component: awareness-raising.

Once Rotarians are more aware of the prevailing problem of polio in the Philippines and the world, they act to promote its eradication. Under the leadership of PDG Ronnie Gabalda, District 3850 Polio Committee Chair, the members of Rotary Club of Iloilo South gathered and had a recharging yoga session at Sol y Mar Beach Resort in Tigbauan, Iloilo.

92-year-old PP Luis ‘Chito’ Tinsay, who joined the activity, is positive that the Rotary is so close to making sure that no child will ever be disabled by polio again.

Rotarians are encouraged to join in, speak out, and donate to The Rotary Foundation.
