The December issue of the Philippine Rotary Magazine focus on Christmas and reflects on the year 2020 — how the Covid19 pandemic and has drastically affected our lives. And yet, despite all the challenges, Rotary has risen up to the occasion and has live up to its motto “Service Above Self”. The cover is shows the Belen at the El Salvador City Hall, Misamis Oriental. ‘El Salvador’ means ‘The Savior’. Adjacent to Cagayan de Oro, El Salvador City hosts a giant statue of Jesus the Divine Mercy. The Franciscans introduced the Belen during the Spanish colonial period.
