It was a fulfilling Valentine’s celebration for RC Metro Kalibo and Walk Inc. that spent a day of giving at Brgy. Caticlan and Manoc-Manoc in Boracay Island
A total of 20 wheelchairs and assistive devices were assembled last February 11 to 12 and distributed last February 14. Walk Inc. Executive Director Megs Lunn, Past President Ricky Molo, and Rtn. Adryan Rommel Martires of Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) were in-charge. Also present during the distribution was ground partner Boracay Foundation Inc. Mr. Diony Salme, Secretary Cristian Gelito and staff Sharon Juliano with LGU Malay Vice-Mayor Nino Cawaling.
Unfortunately, because of the bad weather, only a few recipients were able to make it on February 14. Despite the low turnout, it was a fulfilling Valentine’s day for the Rotarians, volunteers, and guests.
