“Walk with Rotaract” is all about learning through fun, experience through perseverance, and leadership through fellowship.
Spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of Ramanujan, the Phase 2 of “ROTA DIARIES” is now being published. Rota Diaries gives a chance to all the Rotaractors and Rotarians around the world to share their experiences, moments and learnings with Rotaract.
As of writing, Transforming President (TP) Guia de Leon of the Rotary Club of San Pedro South, under Rotary International District (RID) 3820, is the sole contributor for _walkwithrotaract_ from the Philippines. Other participants include the following: Rotaract Club of Gola Kashi of RID 3120, Rotaract Club of IGDTUW of RID 3011, Rotaract Club of Vishwahita of RID 3232, and Rotaract Club of DPSRU of RID 3011.
TP Guia mentioned that one of her favorite moments with Rotaract Club of San Pedro South (RACSPS) is the project entitled “Kaleidoscope: Fun Mural Painting for a Cause.”
On July 25, 2020, Transforming President Steffany Echanes of RACSPS led the team with the “End Polio Now” art. Meanwhile, Youth Service Directors Mykish Sacro and Mhel Nacional led an MTV for the “End Polio Now” crusade. Together, the team started beautifying the surrounding… while promoting noteworthy projects for the community.
For their newly chartered Rotaract Club, the Rotaract Club of San Pedro All Star, TP Guia highlighted the essence of their “Project: Yummy.”
Every Friday, since September 4, 2020, the team, together with Charter President Julian Adique, Serbisyong May Puso and Alagang Kalusugan, gives free milk and multivitamins from Vice Mayor Art Mercado. This is mainly to help the community members to have a stronger immune system to help fight COVID-19.
Finally, this is definitely one simple yet profound way to show how much we value our Rotaractors. After all, in the heart of every Rotary Story, a Rotaract Story is deeply engraved.
