Maestro Ryan Cayabyab Graces A Rotary Webinar

“Kindness attracts goodness in people… everything positive.” ~ Maestro Ryan Cayabyab

Last March 21, a “bale-Talk-Talk-an” with Ryan Cayabyab and Past Presidents Archie Reano and Sugus Legaspi took place via Zoom. “bale-Talk-Talk-an” is a bimonthly fellowship event organized by District Governor Ma. Concepcion ‘Chacha’ Camacho for clubs and Rotarians especially in Rotary International District 3830.

Mr Ryan Cayabyab, also known as Mr. C, is a Filipino musician, composer and conductor. Accordingly, he was the Executive and Artistic Director for several years for the defunct San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts. He was named as National Artist of the Philippines for Music in 2018, and a Ramon Magsaysay Awardee on 2019.

Personally, Transforming President (TP) Guia Lopez de Leon of the Rotary Club of San Pedro South considers his songs like Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika, Kumukutikutitap, Da Coconut Nut, Paraiso, Kailan, Leron Leron Sinta, Sitsiritsit, Pasko Na Sinta Ko as some of his major contributions in Philippine Music.

Mr. C. also narrated to more than 100 present Rotarians in Zoom his humble beginnings up to how mentoring with everything he knows can help the Philippine Music Industry.

RPIC members of Zone 10, under RPIC/Past District Governor Rey Castillo, namely Charlotte Cruz and Lilibeth dela Cruz were also a. huge part of the show. Past Rotary International Director Guiller Tumangan, Jr. also attended the musical and fun-filled night.
