Rotary District 3860 raises funds to end polio by selling the cutest rag dolls

As of today, District 3860 leads in total polio giving in Zone 10A.

The district has been consistent in giving its 20% DDF to polio with 28 Rotary Clubs giving $1,500 and organizing successful fundraisers like the sale of the red End Polio Now T-shirts, and the birthday pitches to celebrate the birthdays of RI President Holger Knaack and Rotary International.

With barely 2 months left for RY2020-2021, D3860 will attempt to sell 400 rag dolls which were donated by DGR PRM/PP Susan Czudai for $20 of which the amount raised will be given to anti-polio efforts.

Needless to say, the district is overwhelmed by the response from the Rotarians. They have bought the dolls to donate to polio and to have a souvenir for this Rotary Year. Some also bought to honor their grandchildren.

They want to share the news in hopes that other districts will also hold last-minute fundraisers for polio, especially the donation of their uncommitted DDF to polio eradication.
