Project Toilet provides 11 more toilets for August

For the month of August, RC Metro Kalibo gave away 11 toilet bowls as part of its Project Toilet initiative.

Life-Changing Pres Loida Enero, Past President Arlenle Tabang and Past President Tony Tabang visited 11 more households this August. They were joined by volunteer community worker Chapel Coordinator Jean C. Andrade and Philippine Red Cross Aklan Youth volunteer Arje C. Andrade. Badio Brgy. Council Chairman Victor T. Crispino was also part of the mission together with partners in service from Badio Barangay Councils – SB Russki T. Ibabao (Chairman, Committee on Health), SB Florecel Igtanloc Bacor (Co-chairman, Committee on Health) and SB Fredo C. Tampico. 

The households visited from Barangay Tamalagon, Tangalan were that of Edgar Tilar, a farmer with two children; Jessie Rey Busaing, a part-time laborer with three children; Jolan Briones, a part-time farmer with five children, and Edsel Tilar, a part-time farmer with two children. From Barangay Badio, Numancia were construction worker Robert Bolina and housewife Shiela who have two children; tricycle driver Jovemar Magcope and housewife Merfe with three children; Reynalin Ibabao, a housewife with three children while hubby is in prison; and construction worker Jerico Octavio and housewife Apple with one daughter. From Sitio Katibyugan, Dongon West, Numancia, Aklan were housewife Juanita B. Belinario and husband laborer Glodel who have an only child.

Project Toilet is the Flagship Project of RC Metro Kalibo for Rotary Year 2021-2022 in response to Sanitation and Hygiene. It is ably supported by D3850 Governor Edwin G. To. The Club looks forward to more collaborations, ensuring healthy families in the community.
