RC Iloilo South donates printer and printing materials to an island barangay school

In celebration of the BASIC EDUCATION and LITERACY MONTH of September, Rotary Club of Iloilo South and its Rotary Satellite Club of Iloilo South-Pueblo de Panay donated one printer and printing materials to Island Barangay Lat-asan Primary School in Panay, Capiz last September 18, 2021.

The pandemic has shifted the learning mode of school children to a modular set-up. The government’s limited sources have made a gap that Rotarians strive to continuously fill.

Rotarians believe that EDUCATION is the BIGGEST GAME CHANGER and CATALYZER in our ever challenging society.

Education contributes to the stability of the community. It’s the best way to secure a promising future that will subsequently help people to survive in this world without too much of a struggle. It also promotes equality with education and the community will have a sense of Diversity, equity and inclusion when it comes to development.

The equal opportunities will help eliminate differences that normally exist in terms of social classes and different genders.

Together with life changing President Aldene Jose Lapating Duyag and Satellite Club of Pueblo Panay David Mc Bride Daryl Serolf, Rotary Club of Iloilo South will do its purpose to give the needs of Lat-asan Primary School for its students.
