Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo holds Culminating Day for dressmaking skills training

Rotary holds its Culminating Day with 10 (out of 11) successful non-working mothers who successfully completed the Dressmaking Livelihood Skills Training conducted from October 23 to 30, 2021.

October is Economic and Community Development. We applaud President Nominee Edwin L. Autencio for leading this month. Rotary creates opportunities by initiating the one week free training/mentoring to help individuals thrive financially and socially in this time of pandemic.

Former trainees Mother Josephine and daughter Lorejoy Pintor shared their best practice/testimonies as to how effective and efficient the training to them. Meanwhile, trainee Hanalee Fulgencio gave her message of gratitude.

PN Edwin is joined today by Life-Changing President Loida M. Enero, together with PE Romeo Reyes, Jr, IPP Rosie B. Reyes and Rotaractor Marnette Autencio, RAC Secretary. PN Edwin personally see through the week-long Dressmaking and Livelihood Skills Training that started last October 23, 2021.

This project is in response to one of seven Areas of Focus-Economic and Community Development.

Simultaneously, the group also did Tree-Planting activity in the area, together with Albasan Barangay Chairman Rodel Maravilla and Albasan Elementary School OIC Ms. Gie Magdaluyo. Special thanks to partners in service: Rotaract Club of Metro Kalibo, Albasan Elementary School, Trikee Solutions, Inc.,The Creative Child Learning Center, PWD Association of Tangalan and Numancia Vice Mayor Ogie Enero.

Together, we can thrive and overcome this crisis.
