One of the latest recipient of Rotary Project WALK is Princess Tenorio (14yo) of Ibajay, Aklan. The mother works as Therapist, while the father is a Utility Maintenance in one of the hotels in Boracay island. Princess is Grade 7 at Boracay National High school, so the family practically resides here.
Rotarians Nora and Megs met her and her Mom last April 3 in the island and took some footage of her happily walking along the seashore.
Thank you to our partner WALK and WORK FOUNDATION ILOILO for taking good care of our children with disabilities (25yo below). Likewise, for the additional support (logistics) from Aklan Vice Gov. Boy Quimpo, Southwest Tours and some private individuals.
