RCMK assesses Project TOilet #120

In response to Maternal and Child Health, Sanitation & Hygiene, DIsease Prevention and Environment, we continue to give TOilet Bowls to households with open defecation, or shared facilities.

Last April 8, 2022, ALS Interactors assessed household #120 – Arwin and Diorelyn Andoy with 8 other members in the family from Barangay Bubog, Numancia, Aklan.

Last April8, 2022, Interactor Marian G. Villanueva and ALS Interact Club of Metro Kalibo Adviser sir Roje Ereñia, turned over one toilet bowl.

When shared toilets are poorly maintained and dirty, they end up posing a health risk rather than reducing the threat of diseases like, Polio, diarhea, intestinal infections, etc. Access to safe, clean sanitation facilities throughout the day is important. More so, safely managed sanitation helps protect both human health and the environment.
