A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed last April 11, 2022, between Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo and the partner institution Numancia Integrated School. The MOU is for the use of the Global Grant Dressmaking equipment of the RCC Metro Kalibo members Training Course for Dressmaking leading to NC II.
Signing the MOU with Pres. Loida Enero was NIS Principal 1 – Secondary Level Mr. Gabriel Espirito R. Vega, Jr. and witnessed by IP Romeo T. Reyes, Jr. and Ms. Famela R. Retamar, NIS Senior High school Coordinator/Master Teacher II. Director for Public Image PP Megs Lunn, RCC President Hana Lee Fulgencio and members were also present.
NIS is RY 2018-2019 Global Grant #1980249 Dressmaking beneficiary. The very purpose of Global Grant Dressmaking is to serve as a vehicle for student-beneficiaries to improve their economic, social and cultural development. President Nominee Edwin Autencio who serves as RCC Adviser, a Senior High school teacher, TESDA Accredited Trainer and Assessor for Dressmaking NC II, will take charge of the classes for 40 days or 320 hrs as required.
The club and partners will help, assist and provide the other necessary tools, logistics, etc. as per training proposal approved by the club.
