Our Clubs

RCC of Metro Kalibo members gain skills and competencies

When the RCC Dressmaking Training resumed, they gained skills & competencies in:

1. Cleaning edges using Edging Machine

2. Assembling parts and pinning for sewing

3. Sewing Practice

Facilitating the training leading to TESDA NC II is New Generations/Youth Service Director and President Nominee (PN) Edwin L. Autencio. PN Edwin has a passion for fashion and studied Fashion Designing and Stylemaking at International Fashion School  Philippines, where he learned skill courses in dressmaking, tailoring, beadworks and embroidery.

This project is in collaboration with our partner institution, Numancia Integrated School (NIS). The school was a recipient of Global Grant #1908249 (TechVoc Dressmaking) by the Rotary International, through Rotary Clubs of Namweon Central, D3670 South Korea and Metro Kalibo, District 3850 Philippines, last RY 2017-2018.

The participants are members of the Rotary Community Corps (RCC) of Metro Kalibo, which was chartered last January 2, 2022. Their wish list is the provision of a “Start Up Business” for livelihood including their needed equipment.  We are looking forward to those who will be interested to collaborate with us and help us respond to Economic and Community Development.
Together, we can Serve to Change Lives.
