For the last two weeks, Marianos’ Brgy. Kagawad Jesusita S. Recayo has come to ask for help on behalf of the recipient, and we right away found ways to support.
On behalf of Life-Changing President Loida Enero, Director Public Image PP Megs Lunn personally turned over on June 19, 2022 the wheelchair to new recipient – Mr. Winces Tana, 33yo of Barangay Marianos, Numancia, Aklan. He is an amputee because of a Buerger’s disease. He has one child and his wife works as a security guard in one of the malls in town. While waiting for our next project WALK casting, he wishes to have a wheelchair first.
Look how excited and happy he is that right away after more than three months, he is now able to go out and smile again. A Happy Father’s Day, indeed.
We are grateful for the support of D3850 Governor Edwin G. To, through Zone 4 AG Alexys Apolonio (RC Kalibo) for the rescue. Good timing that we were able to ask for additional two wheelchair units this year. Another patient is waiting for the other one that will arrive soonest.
