The Rotary Club of QC Media Tech District 3780, led by President Meric Mara, sponsored an event dubbed as “A Day with the Children”. More or less 30 kids who were randomly invited while playing along Commonwealth Avenue. They were brought to Jollibee Don Antonio branch on June 30, 2022.
In celebration of their Year-End Thanksgiving and simultaneously to welcome the Rotary New Year, the children including their parents/guardians after treating them with Jollibee meal, they all received some loot bags with goodies, vitamins and a few school stuff, plus they had fun with games, too. Cash prizes were given to the winners.
Surprisingly, there was Nanay Lourdes among the guardians who was celebrating her 74th birthday. She was very happy to bring home some impromptu gifts and cash, too. Everyone had a great time especially the new members of the club.
Also present was PP Megs Lunn of Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) as the club’s Honorary Member/Adviser.
