Sisterhood Agreement Signing intends to forge lasting relationships with partnering clubs to increase collaboration for a global network of fellowship, service and world understanding.
On August 5, 2022, our long time sister club RC Makati Edsa visited us for a renewal of sisterhood. Led by Pres. Rita Dellosa of the Rotary Club of Makati Edsa (D3830) and Pres. Romeo Reyes, Jr. of the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850), together they signed a Memorandum of Agreement. The club started the partnership during the term of PP Ricky Molo in Rotary Year 2013-2014, where they donated 100 plus stethoscope, etc. for the Aklan provincial hospital and to the 17 town’s rural health, too.
Witnesses were PP Bingbing Singson of RCME and PP Rosie Reyes of RMCK, both are current secretaries of its respective club. The said activity was held at Kitty’s Kitchen in Kalibo, Aklan.
Also present were PP Emily Alvarez (RCME) and the members of RCMK – IPP Loida Enero, Director Public Image PP Megs Lunn, Director New Generations PE Edwin Autencio, PP Ricky Molo, Rtn. Addryan Martires, Auditor PP Arlene Tabang and Director The Rotary Foundation (TRF) PP Tony Tabang.
PP Tony Tabang said, “Imagine the past; Imagine the present; Imagine the future with Rotary. In Rotary, we have a common denominator which is service. Rotary is a way of life.”
