Last August 2, 2022, the Rotary Club of Kalibo invited Past District Governor Mark Ortiz (District Membership Chair) to talk on Membership during the New Member Orientation at the RCK Livelihood & Training Center.
5 new prospective members were given an orientation facilitated by the Membership Committee Chair, PP Jong Ureta. PP Vady Marin talked on Rotary Financial Obligations and PDG Raphy talked on Club activities, programs, & global grants. Overall, it was much appreciated by our new members as well as Rotarians who were present.
Later that day, PDG Mark was also the special guest speaker at the RCK 3rd Regular Meeting. He talked about Membership and navigated us through the My Rotary portal. It was very timely and relevant as Rotary was celebrating Membership month. It is always a welcome experience for members to have speakers of great caliber to grace our meetings!
