Sister club arrangements are within one of the scope of (local or international) Club Service where such initiatives can create better understanding and goodwill through joint activities, shared best practices and community projects, among others.
For the first time, the Rotary Club of Metro Sorsogon (D3820) led by President Makki Jasareno and Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) represented by Director Public Image PP Megs Lunn in lieu of Pres. Romeo Reyes, Jr., signed the sisterhood last Aug. 31, 2022 at Cecilia’s Cafe of Fernando’s Hotel, Sorsogon City, Philippines.
Witnessing were Zone 10A Asst. Membership Coordinator PP Japps Callos, PP Edgar Balasta, PP Sol Quińonez, and club secretary PP Chuck Nares. RC Metro Sorsogon will be the host club for the Operation Taghoy 2023.
Also present were their international humanitarian partners Uplift Internationale BOD/Head of Mission Edith Passion and Patient’s Coordinator Hirra de Padua. Afterwards, they had dinner fellowship and they discussed a few concerns for the upcoming 2023 missions.
