Last Feb. 17, 2023, Mrs. Miriam Tabay of Brgy. Mabilo, Kalibo, Aklan received a new single cane from Rotary Project WALK.
A mild-stroke patient, she needed the cane for support. Thankfully, Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) & Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGTD) led her tracks to Rotary and her need was immediately fulfilled.
Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) and also WALK INC Executive Director PP Megs Lunn accompanied the members of the First PMFC and APPO PSMU for an impromptu visit to Miriam.
She warmly welcomed the group and was even more delighted when the cane was handed to her.
