On May 6, 2023, the Rotary Club of Iloilo City (RCIC) D3850 and Rotary Club of Metro Calamba (RCMC) D3820 successfully signed a sisterhood during a joint fellowship meeting at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
The sisterhood was signed between incoming presidents Ian Dela Serna of RCIC and incoming president Joe Alihan of RCMC.
Witnessing were District Governor Nominee Designate Winston Santos, Past President Jess Arlegui and current President Enorio Edpan from RCIC, while from RCMC were Charter President Joven Guevarra, Past President Efren Bongais and club secretary Oliver Manaig.
A sisterhood promotes friendship and cooperations, collaborates on socio-cultural activities, and encourages joint visit and projects. Overall, it advances understanding and fosters goodwill and peace.
The Rotary Club of Iloilo will celebrate its 50th anniversary in two years, while the Rotary Club of Calamba celebrates their 10th founding year this RY 2023-2024.
