With numerous instances of domestic violence (reported and unreported) and related incidents in our community, many, if not all, of our most vulnerable community members are unaware of their rights and the necessary procedures.

The Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo’s initial Project ALAC (Awareness and Legal Aid Caravan), in collaboration with RLB Law Office and Associates was a success! Congratulations to everyone involved on February 25, 2024.

Educating oneself about rights and the safe space act is a crucial step towards fostering a welcoming and secure environment in our community, leading to peace and harmony.
The event was in response to Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolution, as one area of focus of Rotary International, and the 119 years celebration this year. It was covered by Kalibo Cable TV Network, Inc., at Numancia Multi-Purpose Covered Court.
