In line with Rotary’s area of focus on Basic Education and Literacy, Rotary Club of Zamboanga Central trained teachers how to use digital tablets for their online classes
In support of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), particularly the Modular Distance Learning of the Tolosa National High School, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central sponsored a whole day Teachers’ Capacity Training Tablets in the Classroom. The theme of the training was “Empowering Teachers and Engaging Learners in Embracing the New Normal in Education.”
The main purpose of the said training was to equip teachers with the necessary tools and skills to continue moving pedagogy forward towards creating a flexible, adaptable systems that promote reimagined models of learning through the use of available technology. Thanks to the pool of resource speakers headed by Ma’am Genevieve Bebang Kulong, Division IT Officer and the equally abled ICT Coordinators from the Division of Zamboanga City for imparting their expertise to help teachers stay relevant in this trying time.
