In support to one of the Rotary International Areas of Focus in Environment, the Rotary Club of Bacolod East sponsored an environmental talk during its regular club meeting.
No less than the Regional Executive Director for DENR Region 6, Forester Livino B. Duran (CESE) spoke about strengthening environmental strategies among stakeholders.

To actualize the Environmental talk initiated just two days before, the Rotary Club of Bacolod East collaborated withthe LCC HS Batch 91, St. John the Baptist Chaplaincy, and DENR Bacolod to mount “OPLAN LINIS KAPALIGIRAN” at 6 in the morning of July 25.
A coastal cleanup and Mangrove reforestation activity was conducted along the coastal areas of Barangay Punta Taytay, Bacolod City.
President Nonoy Lampinez spearheaded the planting of mangrove propagules in the coastal area of the barangay with Rotakids in action and DENR collaborators while Spouse Inday led the coastal cleanup.
