Katibyugan Day Care Center in Dongon West, Numancia, held their last week of modular giving for the month of December. Day Care Worker Ms. Rizalyn Lachica and parents handled the feeding of Manna Rice with root crops early on. Rotaract and ALS Interact clubs of Metro Kalibo assisted, while they also distributed their gifts of goodies for the children.
Simultaneously today is also the modular feeding program of Dongon West Day Care Center in Dongon West, Numancia, Aklan. Led by Dongon West Day Care Worker – Ms. Jocelyn T. Almero and Ms. Cherill E. Reyes – Barangay Nutritionist Scholar, together with ALS Interact Club of Metro Kalibo led by its president Mheal Rod Flores, we also assisted in their last week of modular feeding for the month of December. Interactor president Mheal Rod Flores, taught some children how to wash their hands.
Likewise, Dunkin Donuts were distributed to each of more or less 100 children of the day care center combined. Life Changing President Loida Enero, Past President Megs Lunn and Rotarian Rupete Garcia gave cocoa & milk for the champorado and hygiene kits to the barangay health workers, too, to ensure sanitation and hygiene as they served food.
Present to also assist is Hakid ni San Jose of St. Joseph the Worker Parish Team Moderator Rev. Fr. Vincent Cajilig, together with Director for Public Image Past President Megs Lunn, Director New Generations President Nominee Edwin Autencio, Rotaractor Marnette Autencio, ALS Interact Club President Mheal Rod Flores, ALS Adviser Roje Erenia and other Interactors.

The Feeding Program thru Hakid ni San Jose promotes access to education by encouraging the children of healthy eating behaviors. We empower the parents and communities as well as they carefully prepare the meal.
