PRM February 2023 Issue is now online on web and mobile app

This February 2023, we have two R.I. Districts in focus – D3770 and D3800.

We explore D3770 under the helm of District Governor Marcelino “Noli” S. Garcia, Jr. Gov. Noli is from Bulacan and has a strong advocacy towards the environment.  Featured projects from three clubs in the district focused on uplifting the lives of the indigent, clean water and the planting of giant bamboo trees that can provide a wide range of economic and environmental benefits to the community.

This year, D3800 is under the leadership of District Governor Arturo “Bobby” Tanyag.  Showcasing the power of club engagement, 80% of the district’s clubs received district grants, a high number that results in meaningful and impactful projects for the communities they serve.

As war rages in Ukraine, Wen Huang of R.I.’s Rotary Magazine, visits Poland to see how life is within the spectre of war and how Rotarians are responding to the humanitarian crisis in the continent.

We also explore how a Rotary Club in Korea is helping the blind and visually impaired experience the joys of cycling.
