On Sept. 7, 2023, a Community Assessment at Ati Village, Sapa Primary School and Lupo Elementary School in Altavas, Aklan, was led by Pres. Duke Sucgang of club Rotary Club of Las Piñas-Camino Real (D3830) and Pres. Ricky Molo of the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850), together with the town’s officials and teachers.
After a short courtesy call with Mayor Denny Refol, Sr., the group proceeded to visit the areas for assessment. Two for the water projects and one for the economic and community development.
To plan an effective project, it is crucial to assess your community’s strengths, weaknesses, needs, and assets. By gaining knowledge about your community, you can identify the most suitable opportunities for service and enhance your club’s capacity to create a meaningful impact.
