On Nov. 10, 2023, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) and Rotary Club of Forbes Park (D3830), with partner Walk and Work Foundation / Iloilo Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Center and through WALK Inc. Executive Director PP Megs Lunn, successfully carried out this year’s Rotary Project WALK @15.
The team had the opportunity to work with 25 children for assessment and follow up of their prosthetic legs, three of whom will undergo clubfoot surgery in January 2024. Additionally, we have assisted three new clubfoot children who were referred by STAC Kalibo.
Simultaneously, Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo and WALK inc. renewed their partnership with Walk and Work Foundation through Signing of Memorandum of Agreement. Executive Director Megs Lunn signed on behalf of Atty. Ed Escano, Founding President of WALK Inc.
Also present to witness in the signing were the members of Numancia Integrated School Interact Club of Metro Kalibo led by pres. Chrisha Janas. The event was held at the ground floor of MQ Building, Toting Reyes St., Kalibo Aklan.
The clubs also extend their heartfelt appreciation to NIS Interact Club of Metro Kalibo, Rotaract Club of Metro Kalibo, and Rotary friends for their valuable contributions and support on the ground.
