On November 17, 2023, The Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo collaborated with the Aklan Police Provincial Office, Provincial Advisory Group, and Aklan Baghay to host an eventful Municipal Advisory Group (MAG) conference.
The conference aimed to showcase the Eight (8) Best Practices of KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simabaha at Pamayanan) program by the Philippine National Police, with the goal of establishing Aklan as a safe and happy place to live, work, and do business.
Simultaneously, our club signed a Memorandum of Understanding with R&B Law Office through Project ALAC (Awareness and Legal Aid Caravan) advocacy. We responded to the partnership and the event, respectively in relation to Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolutions.
The conference received support from Aklan Governor Jo-en Miraflores and was attended by numerous stakeholders from all over Aklan. Kalibo Cable TV Network and Aklan Cable TV Company, Inc. provided live media coverage of the event.
