The Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo joined the anniversary celebration of Child Haus and donated PhP100,000 as assistance to the facility. Child Haus Manila, started by Ricky Reyes who made a name in the beauty and style salon business, supports cancer patients undergoing treatment in various government hospitals. Through its various programs, services, and activities, the facility provides hospice care, free board and lodging, and promotes the concept of holistic healing. It can accommodate up to 100 residents
Aside from its rooms for lodging, Child Haus boasts facilities that make every individual’s stay—patient and parent/ guardian alike, a truly significant one.
This seven-story establishment on a 380-square meter lot has two dormitories for children and nine for adults. It is the only home of its kind in the country with a playground, play and learning room, an entertainment area, a social hall, library, dispensary, milk feeding, dining area, laundry room, isolation rooms for delicate patients, a viewing deck, and a garden.
