Hitting two birds with one stone, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central helped a school cope with the new system of learning as well as provide protection for COVID-19.
The Interact Club of Universidad de Zamboanga-CES together with Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central turned over school supplies like plastic envelopes, erasers, writing pads, eraser, sharpener, crayons, books and hygiene kits to Cabaluay Elementary School. It was duly received by its Principal, Socorro Linao, last November 3.
The activity focused on two of Rotary’s Areas of Focus, Basic Education and Disease Prevention and Treatment, and in support of the Iwas Covid Campaign. It was also in celebration of World Interact Week #worldinteract.
