RC Kalibo and RC Metro Kalibo (D3850) partnered with the Philippine Red Cross Aklan for a Blood Drive
Philippine Army 3DCAU Camp Libas and Barangay Libas in Banga hosted the mobile blood donation program at Camp Jizmundo Libas, Banga, Aklan. The event was also in partnership with 12IB 3ID Philippine Army, LGU Banga Municipal Health Office and the five cluster barangays of Libas, Mangan, Venturanza, Agbanawan, and Tabayon.
Both Rotary clubs sponsored the snacks and mother club Rotary Club of Kalibo gave away tokens of kitchen plastic wares to the successful 50 donors.
The blood supply in Aklan has reached an alarming low number due to the surge of COVID-19 cases this past few months. Rotary honors its commitment to continue the D3850 Legacy Project on the collection of safe and quality blood supply.
