The Singapore Virtual Rotary Institute took place last December 4 to 6 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This annual event brings together past, present, and future district governors and senior leaders from Zones 1B, 9 and 10 to share information and exchange ideas about Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation (TRF), and build new connections and fortify old ones.
Transforming President Guia Lopez de Leon of the Rotary Club of San Pedro South, upon the advice of her good friend based in Cebu, Immediate Past President Candy Victoria Galvez Cusi, was able to attend virtually. As a (relatively) newbie in the world of Rotary, TP Guia had learned a lot in just few days.
As put in by Rotary International Director Chi Tien Surgeon Liu 劉啟田, Convenor of the Singapore Virtual Rotary Institute, “It is also a golden opportunity for all Rotarians to catch up with Rotary friends from various regions.”
The whole RCSPS team under District 3820 would like to congratulate all the old and new members of Arch Klumph Society. Named after the sixth president of Rotary, the Arch Klumph Society recognizes The Rotary Foundation’s highest tier of donors — those who have contributed $250,000 or more during their lifetime.
Finally, congratulations to all the winners for the “People of Action,” and of course, to all the people behind this very successful event.
