Rotary and partners celebrated the 43rd NPDR Week 2021 thru “Every Disabled Child Matters.”
Present during the turnover last July 16 was life-changing president Loida Enero, PP Megs Lunn and PP Ricky Molo. They were joined by the club project’s partners, Pharmacist Association of the Philippines (Aklan) Chapter President Mellissa Dela Cruz-Mirto and Drugstore Association of the Philippines (Aklan) Chapter Vice-President Marilyn Alvarez.
The NPDR Week 2021 celebration was also in cooperation with PP Susan Czudai- RC Angeles Kuliat, President Rachel Go and IPP Haydee Panganiban of sister club RC Zamboanga City Central, President Vickki Pangan & team of the Rotary Club of Makati Southeast and Mr. Wiener Yalung from Singapore.
About 100 hygiene, teen and pediatric kits were distributed and would be used for therapy of children with disabilities at the Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC).
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1870, s. 1979 as amended by Presidential Proclamation No. 361 , s,. 2000 and Administrative Order (AO) No. 35, s. 2002, the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) will lead the observance of the 43rd National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on July 17- 23, 2021. The theme this year is “Kalusugan at Kaunlaran ng Pilipinong May Kapansanan, Isulong sa Gitna ng Pandemya.”
