Last November 10, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo partnered with the PRC Aklan Bakuna Bus to brave the rain and danger to go back to Brgy. Loctuga, Libacao, Aklan. About 101 out of 108 individuals successfully got their 2nd dose. The club’s slogan is, “Get Vaccinated: Protect Others by Protecting Yourself.”
Kudos to Barangay Health Workers, LGU MPS and 1st Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company for taking good care of the team. Shout out to those who fixed the road when they came back.

On November 11, the PRC Aklan Bakuna Bus served the farthest community in the town of Ibajay, Aklan – Barangays Mina-a, Yawan, Aparicio, San Jose, Naile, Malindog, Monlaque, Naligusan and Rizal. About 588 individuals out of 610 supposed target were successfully vaccinated (1st dose of AztraZeneca and Pfizer).
Kudos to LGU Ibajay and its Municipal Office health workers led by Dr. Antonio Maagma and Dr. May Noralyn Laserna, also together with the assistance of Barangay Council Chairmen, members, PNP MPS, BPAT, MDRRMO and force multipliers. Special thanks to the host barangay Naile Chairman Ed Bolocon.
