Ibaraki Medical Association of Ibaraki, Japan, donated kitchen utensils to 50 households affected by Typhoon Odette at Cabadiangan, Sipalay last January 10, 2022.
The families at Sitio Kampisang, Brgy. Gil Montilla in Municipality of Sipalay, Negros Occidental, (kindly check if this is correct thank you) were badly affected by the flash flood created by the typhoon as they were situated beside the river. They lost most of their belongings. The donated kitchen utensils composed of stock pots, frying pans, spoons, forks, plastic cups, plates, and ladles, were much welcomed as they try to survive and rebuild through the challenges.
The donations were turned over to Fr. Fernando Villanueva, Jr. of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and witnessed by Rotary representatives AG Alan Nuega, Past President Pauline Nuega and President Pauline Cuaycong, among others.
