The Rotaract Club of Metro Kalibo club, led by its President Uriel Bolivar, had a successful blood drive at Poblacion, Nabas, Aklan. They were grateful to the 22 successful donors, a few first timers and many regular donors.
The club appreciated their partners in service, Philippine Red Cross Aklan, volunteer Physicians Dr. Mary Magpusao and Dr. Floriphez Yerro, LGU Nabas, Poblacion Barangay Council, RHU and their mother club – Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850).
Simultaneously held with the blood drive was the handwashing demonstration and a feeding activity to some little children living nearby the venue. Rotaractor Marinella Rentillo led the handwashing demonstration assisted by RC143 volunteers. Rotaract Adviser Director New Generations and RC Metro Kalibo President Nominee Edwin Autencio was overseeing the activity.
Rotaractors said they felt good organizing and hosting for the first time this blood drive and fulfilled that surprisingly they had conducted a 3-in-1 activity, with the able support of RCMK Life-Changing President Loida M. Enero and team.
Also present were Rotaractors Ian Truimfante (Blood Donor), Marinella Rentillo, Marnette Autencio, Ace Feliciano, Larn Robin Laurenciano, and Jaylord Rondael and RC Metro Kalibo’s Director for Public Image, Past President Megs Lunn.
