The Rotary Club of Bacolod North is privileged to represent the business and civic organizations sector during the online Bacolod-Negros Occidental DEBATE: ELEKSYON 2022!
Last January 15, Bacolod mayoral and Negros Occidental gubernatorial aspirants faced off in a townhall debate to tackle the latest issues affecting various sectors. Questions on pandemic response, economic recovery, environmental protection and climate change, academic plans, political agenda, and many others were raised by representatives coming from the medical, business, civic, academic, religious, environmental, and youth sectors.
Presented by the UP Law Alumni Association Negros Occidental Chapter and the University of Saint La Salle, together with knowledge partner, the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the event successfully raised awareness in the voting public, giving them the opportunity to get to know their candidates more and make an educated choice for the coming mayoral and gubernatorial elections.
