Finally, last March 24, 2022, the Rotary Club of QC Media Tech (D3780) led by LCP Meric Mara, and Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) led by LCP Loida M. Enero are sister clubs.
Twin clubs, or sister clubs, are two clubs from different clubs, districts, or countries that form a long-term relationship to promote international understanding and goodwill and carry out service projects in their communities.
Pres. Meric Mara will continue his term until RY 2022-2023. He is one of our benefactors in Project WALK. Prior to becoming a Rotarian, he was already doing community service and cyber-teach in Aklan since Typhoon Frank.
During the joint meeting, we also shared our upcoming events plus the Discon 2022 teaser. We were also inspired by a few of their member’s classification talk and recent projects out of town.
