Last March 4, 2023, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City celebrated its 75th Charter Anniversary with the Blessing and Turnover of the Rotary Wellness Park in Barangay Pasonanca. The area is about 500sq.m.
People from all over the city visit Pasonanca park to do their exercises through jogging, brisk walking, zumba, biking and also swim in the nearby Rotary Pool.
Rotary provides access to health and Rotary Club of Zamboanga City believes that staying healthy is essential for a better well-being.
The family of RCZC PP Eduardo Ramon “Edmon” Dimaano donated the said park. During the formal turn over, he was joined by his spouse Jacqueline Dimaano and daughter Rtn. Sarah Grace Dimaano, a third generation member of the club.
PRID Guiller Tumangan, RCZC Pres. Oliver Cheong, City Legal Officer/D3850 Zone 10 AG Haydee Panganiban (representing Mayor John Dalipe), and Pasonanca Barangay Chairman Efigenio Julian Jr., gave their messages.
The event was graced by D3850 Gov. John Michael “Kano” Ng, Past District Governors from District 3850 and from other Districts, Pasonanca Barangay Councils, representatives of our sister clubs, ZC Interact and Rotaract Clubs, among many others.
