RC Metro Kalibo concentrates sustainable talks on sustainable initiatives

During the August 11th meeting, Rotarian Ju-im Jimlan shared his inspiring story about the role public education played in his life, and the advocacy work he has done to advance it. With over a decade of experience as a public teacher and a community servant, his speech was truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

Classification Talks are a crucial part of Rotary Club meetings, enabling members to get to know one another better and understand each other.

Then, President Ricky Molo inducted new member – Rtn. Michael “Mike”  Manio, with classification as Interior Designer/Entrepreneur and his sponsor is, Rtn. Lorraine Joy Valenzuela.

Lastly, we had the pleasure of hearing from our guest speaker Ms. Ritchel Casisid Cahilig, founder and president of Aklan Trekkers, Inc., our environmental partners. Her profound knowledge and commitment to environmental preservation left us all in awe.
Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo has pledged to support their advocacy through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and cash donation last club induction on July 24. Together, we will focus on sustainable initiatives that benefit the community, give hope and promote environmental conservation.
