RC Metro Kalibo holds dressmaking workshop

Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo D3850 Director New Generation Edwin Autencio puts his vocation to good use to create impact. His initiative is also in response to Economic and Community Development.

The past few weeks have been both challenging and fulfilling for him, particularly due to the two consecutive weeks of events. Prior to October schedules, he led the 3-day DepEd Division Skills Enhancement Training Workshop in Dressmaking, held from September 28-30, 2023.

The club also want to give a special shoutout to the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) Interact Club of Numancia Integrated School (NIS), led by Club President Chrisha Belle Janas, Vice President K-ann Lim, and other officers and members including Interactors Kane Justel Iligan, Ronie Oscar Recibe, Dionise Peña, and all the others who volunteered to help and assist in event.

FUN FACT. During the Covid19 pandemic, Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Senior Highschool Teacher/Trainor and Rotarian Edwin Autencion, through our MOU with our partner institution Numancia Integrated School (NIS) used the Rotary Global Grant #1980249 (RY 2018-2019) equipment to deliver experiential skills training while adhering to health and safety protocols. Furthermore, the Rotary Community Corps (RCC) Albasan members also completed and passed both Basic and Advanced Training for our “Kababayenhan nga Manugtahi” livelihood project.
