July signals the start of a brand new Rotary Year and with this seasonal change, we turn the spotlight to Holger Knaack, the Rotary International President for RY 2020-2021.
This issue is full of inspiring stories of how Rotarians and Rotaractors are rising to the challenge of navigating the New Normal of COVID 19. The key word now is Virtual — how to conduct meetings and training, all online without physical contact. Even the R.I. Convention made tremendous use of online capabilities to reach our to Rotarians everywhere after its physical event that was supposed to happen in Honolulu had to be cancelled.
We also remember Rotary Icons who recently passed away — PRIP M.A.T. Caparas and PDG Loy Cosico.
As with the Rotary World, the Philippine Rotary Magazine also underwent a “changing of the guard” with PDG Reynaldo “Rey” David assuming the Chairmanship of the PRMFI from outgoing Chair, PDG Samuel Pagdilao, Jr.
Editor-in-Chief, PDG Sonny Coloma has great plans and promises that PRM will continue to be a dynamic media product and organization.
