Members of the Rotary Club of Guiguinto Bloomingdales partnered with CENRO to start a tree planting project in different barangays.
Titled Guintong Hardin, the joint project was attended by 12 active members of the club who eagerly planted seeds to 4 barangays of Guiguinto last July 14. They trooped to Barangays Tabang, Sta Rita, Sta Cruz and Ilang-ilang and planted 25 trees each on the respective community barangay gardens.
The tree planting aims to raise awareness on the impact of planting trees to the environment. Saving trees as well as merely expressing concern for the environment may lift the quality of living and bring to light the importance of health consciousness among the old and the young.
