Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central (RCZC Central) sponsored a whole day Teachers’ Capacity Training Tablets in the Classroom
Last September 19, RCZC Central supported the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), particularly the Modular Distance Learning of the Tolosa National High School. It conducted a teachers’ training at Auto Grill with the theme “Empowering Teachers and Engaging Learners in Embracing the New Normal in Education.”
The main purpose of the said training is to equip teachers with the necessary tools and skills to continue moving pedagogy forward towards creating flexible, adaptable systems that will promote reimagined models of learning through the use of available technology.
The pool of resource speakers were headed by Division IT Officer Ma’am Genevieve Bebang Kulong and the equally abled ICT Coordinators from the Division of Zamboanga City. They imparted their time and expertise for teachers to stay relevant in these trying times.
The project is in line with Rotary’s area of focus on Basic Education and Literacy.
