To celebrate World Interact Week, the Interact Club of Universidad de Zamboanga-CES and Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central joined forces to assist an elementary school
Last November 3, the Interact Club of Universidad de Zamboanga-CES and Rotary Club of Zamboanga City Central turned over school supplies to Cabaluay Elementary School. They first bought and collected plastic envelopes, erasers, writing pads, eraser, sharpener, crayons, books and hygiene kits that they deemed necessary for a student. The donation was duly received by its Principal Socorro Linao.
The activity focused on Basic Education and Disease Prevention and Treatment two of Rotary’s Areas of Focus. It was also in support of the Iwas Covid Campaign and in celebration of World Interact Week.
