Communication Expert Guides District 3820’s Incoming Presidents

On the morning of March 20, Rotarian Dr. Josephine Feir talked about how “Everyone Communicates, Few Connects” via Zoom.

Dr. Feir, also known as “Teecheer Joy,” is a member of Toastmasters International, Rotary and John Maxwell. She is also part of engineering and designing beautiful teaching-learning experiences for the students of Saint Gerard Fidelis School, an internationally certified institution for young leaders and entrepreneurs.

Teecheer Joy sweetly unraveled how essential smiling is, how a talent in speaking can do wonders in human relationships, and further discussed how people must connect more than just communicate.

After the session, at least 100 participants were highly encouraged to shelve of the layers of fear, doubt and disbelief in speech communication.

This webinar was highly endorsed by the Incoming District Governor Angie Sunio and Incoming District Information and Communication Officer (IDICO) Guia Lopez de Leon of Rotary International District 3820. As District Governor-Elect Sunio posted in the Group Chat of the President-Elects, “You may find this useful. Learn directly from  the expert, Teecher Joy. This is a free webinar. Thank you.”

Indeed, connecting is all about others, and it requires energy. As emphasized by IDICO Guia, “As Rotarians, every action must be clear, and every intentions to ‘serve above self’ must be done patiently and lovingly.
