RC Bacolod North provides clean water to a Gawad Kalinga Village

Rotary Club of Bacolod North provides much-needed access to clean water through donating and turning over a  water tank,  with capacity of 3,000 liters, to Gawad Kalinga ERH Village at Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City.    

Led by Life-Changing President Kendall Ang, the rotarians and the various officers of ERH GK Village unveiled the new concrete water tank.  It aims to help the community of 126 families  in having enough and consistent water supply.  Rotarians present were PP Bobby Tinsay and Rotary Ann Neneng Tinsay, PP Robert Cerrada, PP Romy Lopez, PP Sugar Ababao, VP Jude Quingco, Administrative Secretary Janice Jocson, and PE Shirley Mendoza-Maghari.  ERH GK Village Officers were led by Ms. MikMik Bersuela. 

Rotary Club of Bacolod North donates Php50,000 worth of Hydrocortisone vials to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital. Represented by Life-Changing President Kendall Ang and Past President Robert Cerrada, turned over to CLMMRH representative Anton Monfort 2000 vials of hydrocortisone (sodium succinate) last November 4, 2021.

“Hydrocortisone injection is used to treat symptoms of low corticosteroid levels (lack of certain substances that are usually produced by the body and are needed for normal body functioning). It is also used to treat severe allergic reactions.”- 

This project is aimed at supporting the local government’s healthcare efforts to serve the community.
